If you know anything about me, you know I am kind of obsessed with my birthday. What's even worse? My sister is 10 times worse than I am. I find it hilarious when we start talking about it and dad will chime in, "Where did we go wrong? It must have been the great birthday parties we threw you guys." My birthday is only 11 days before my sister and we are both born in the lovely month of March. I was born on March14th 1987 at 11:11 a.m. -- I always thought it was so cool that I was born at 11:11 a.m.
Speaking of family - Dad, Ashley and Bryan all traveled down this way to join myself and Phil in participating in the listening of some of some wonderful bluegrass music. John Prine and Old Crow Medicine Show were at the Peace Center in downtown Greenville. It was a WONDERFUL show and it was so wonderful for MOST of my family to come down. We did miss Mom, but she is always there in spirit. Especially if there is a funny moment that happens and we wonder would mom would say or do in that situation! We love to pick on her but we truly do adore her.
I did skip out on the gym yesterday - and I feel terrible about it. I actually skipped out on the gym Saturday and Sunday too. My abs hurt SO bad I could hardly laugh or sneeze without a pain. Guess I know which area I need to work on most? Well, I do need to get my ducks in a row and head over to the "House of Pain" - especially when Phil becomes my instructor it can become intense!!
