Happy Memorial Day!

So, I'm usually not very pale (and that's because I use to have lots of free time in college to go get fake tans or go to the beach) Now that I am in the real world - this is not feasible. Thank you Memorial Day weekend, I officially do not look like a vampire.

Still can't say I'm tan, just not scary pale anymore.

I hope everyone had a safe and joyous weekend. I will write a post later about my adventures (and it was an adventurous weekend)

Things i'm lovin' :)

OF COURSE the first thing i'm going to put is something like a Snicker's Ice Cream Bar.. just had one (well half of one) and it was A-Mazing. It's even better when you let it melt!

Lacey Swiss Cheese - I know that sounds weird, but I've become obsessed with it. I don't even want another piece of cheese touching my delicate deli ham. Nothing makes the taste of mayonnaise come out more than lacey swiss.
Bridesmaid Dresses with cowboy boots. How adorable is this?? May just have to use it- not those colors though!
And of course my sweet fiance. This is us at Ksimms weddings. Can't wait to finally call him my husband. A little less than 11 months!

And can't forget my little man. Seriously, he might be the best dog ever. I love how he listens to us when we talk like he seriously understands what we are saying. I can't believe 3 years ago from this time we were going to just "look" at puppies.

Funny story behind his name. We had NO idea what to name him and we were driving back to our hometown to show him off to his "grandparents" and Black Dog by Led Zeppelin came on the radio. NO KIDDING. So, we named him Zeppelin (Zepp for short) and it totally fits him. :)

Kchu becomes Ksimms

This past weekend was exhausting - but SO much fun. Phil and I traveled 6 hours to New Bern on Saturday to watch one of my really good friends KChu(as we call her) get married. The ceremony was on the water and it was BEAUTIFUL. It was held at an old plantation house (which was GORGEOUS as well). The food was delicious, the drinks were poured all evening, and we did an amazing amount of dancing. Seriously, my legs are hurting from all the dancing! The bride and the groom are so adorably in love, and it just gives you chills to see such wonderful people join together.

It was so nice to see a lot of my girlfriends from high school and just relax and drink and celebrate! Kristen looked stunning as usual.

Here is the newly Mrs. Ksimms with us girls from high school

And no, I didn't find my camera for the event - nor did I find my camera charger. So, I'm stealing pictures from other people.

Addiction

I'm not sure if any of you watch Real Housewives of New Jersey, but it's like an addiction for me. I watch a lot of the Real Housewives shows, but I don't tape them, nor do I get as excited about them like I do the Jersey girls. I wasn't sure how this year was going to pan out considering Danielle is gone and she is half the reasons those girls go bat shit crazy.. or so I thought.

Apparently, it isn't just Danielle. After watching the season premier the other night I have come to the conclusion that Teresa's family is effin crazy...like in their own league of craziness. I was also appalled at what Melissa (a new housewives and is also Teresa's brother's wife) wore to her son's christening. Was she going to a night club or a church?

Their family has so many issues that it's no wonder they all throw tables and curse and scream and fight. They have 7 children between the two of the siblings and those poor kids are going to be seriously effed up.

The point of this blog is to see if I'm the only person out there that is mortified at Melissa's behavior (and Teresa, but by this point I'm so use to her craziness it doesn't matter). Melissa is an overly materialist bitch who looks like a stripper and obviously gives two shits about her kids. Please get some class. I also can't figure out why Kathy is on the show - I know she's related to Teresa but is she seriously only there to make Teresa go crazy?

Starting over

Well, I guess since I am a moron and deleted half of my blogs, I guess it's time to start over. My life really isn't that entertaining to be honest with you - so there isn't much to catch up on. I am pretty stoked about Kristen's wedding this weekend. I need to search my house for my camera battery charger - then I need to search for my camera since I have now lost it. Shock? Not really. I tend to lose - everything? I swear I spend half my day looking for my keys. I'm sure Phil is going to lose it soon if he hears, "WHERE ARE MY KEYS!?!?" One more time. Or "Ma'am, you left your keys at the table."

SO EMBARRASSING.
or this one..

"Did you grab the to go box?" No. I don't ever grab the to go box. I can't tell you how many good left over dinners I have left at the restaurant because I am a complete moron.

Or..
"Sweety do you have any idea where my pocketbook is?" Of course he doesn't. Why would he ever know where I put my pocketbook? He shouldn't be forced to keep up with things like that, but now that we live together he has learned to spot it before he goes to bed and let me know where it's at in the morning, because I never do.

So, if you are ever eating dinner with me, please pick up my to-go box and hand it to me before I get in my car so I can feel like an idiot. (I'll appreciate it later when I am munching on my left over goodness)

I'm an Idiot

Sorry, somehow ALL of my blogs from March to May were deleted. So, I'm sure you didn't miss out on much, but it does kind of upset me. Especially the blog I put about becoming engaged. Oh well. Life will move on. I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend :)

I'm such an idiot

I totally, accidently deleted over half of my post. UGH. I probably can't get them back and I'm really upset about that. Sorry for the random MARCH to MAY jump. If you were wondering why they were deleted - the real reason is because I'm an IDIOT.

Sorry if anyone is confused.

Are those not the cutest things? I found some of these on Etsy, and I'm not sure what I would do with them in a wedding, but it would TOTALLY go with my theme. Maybe hang them on the gifts? The wedding process has been super slow. As of today we have the venue, caterer, makeup and hair and the band. The rest is still in the air

Oh yeah, Happy belated Cinco de Mayo - here is Phil's big ass marg. It was HUGE! Mine wasn't as big - I wouldn't have been able to walk outta there!
