Life as we know it.

The next two months are going to be ridiculous. Please bare with me as I attempt to keep up with my blog, celebrate Phil and myself's 25th birthday, go on a bachelorette party and then get married - oh yeah, and live my day to day normal life...seriously.

I don't deal well under stress, and I had my first "wedding" break down the other day. I just laid in Phil's chest and boohoo'd over the question, "What kind of belt buckle should the guys wear?" I had yet to think about this, nor care about this. I couldn't even help the tears. Poor Phil, he just rubbed my back and said - "everything's going to be okay, it's not a big deal." So, needless to say, Phil and his judgement will figure that one out.

The big things were the easy part, but the "What songs should play while people are waiting/seating themselves?" or "What kind of shoes should the guys wear?" Or "You don't have a something blue?? What are you going to wear?" These are the questions driving me insane.

Today we get to celebrate a big day - Phil is turning 25. I think I have told him at least 12 times today how thankful I am he was born. I'm not sure how or why I've been so lucky to have such an amazing guy - but I won't ask any questions and I'll keep him to myself. I wish I had all the money in the world to make this day so special for him, but a few gifts, a dinner and movie is all I can manage.

^That would be Phil and I at our high school senior prom in 2005.

If you would have told me then I was going to marry this guy 7 years later, I'm not so sure I would have believed you, or would have said, "Yeah, right, in my dreams!" Well ladies and gents - dreams do come true. I love you Phil and I hope I can attempt to make this day half as special as you are to me and I cannot wait to become your wife in just 8 weeks.

Andddd here we are now. Love ya babe.

Eventually I'll put up photos of my life these past few weeks!

The Final Stretch

The wedding is coming in a' hurry! It's almost 2 months away, AH! Phil and I made a list last night of all the things we had to accomplish, and it's kind of amazing to see how short the list has dwindle down to. I mean, don't get me wrong - we have our hands full until the day of, but it's mostly just little things.
We purchased our wedding bands last night and it was so surreal to see Phil try his on. Mine isn't as big of a deal since I've had a ring on the left side for almost a year now, so I was just trying to find a pretty band that corresponded well with my beautiful ring (which by the way took me FOREVER to find).

Saturday I went to try my wedding dress on for the first time. I completely fell in love all over again. There were plenty of girls trying on dresses at the store and I kept telling myself that I picked the right one - for me at least. That's what's so awesome about wedding dresses. There are SO many different kinds that go along with SO many different type of girls. Plenty of the girls were trying on beautiful dresses, but they were perfect for them - not me. It's awesome to see another girl try on "the one", because you can tell - everyone in the room can tell when a girl picks the "perfect" dress!

We also picked out Tess' beautiful flower girl dress, and boy does it sparkle and flow. She is going to be such a princess at the wedding and I know she is going to steal the show - which I'm totally okay with.

I have my bridal shower this weekend (i know it's early, but living 3 hours away you gotta do what you gotta do!) and the bachelorette party in Savannah, Ga for St. Pattys in a month! Oh yeah, can't forget i'm turning 25 in a month too and Phils 25th birthday is in a week and a half - whewwww. Writing all of that down makes me tired!

Have a wonderful Monday :)
