Work Work all week long

It is finally friday my dear friends, and I will be taking the drive down a relentlessly tiring road called Interstate 85 in a few short hours. I am heading "home", or Asheboro to celebrate the life and birth of my father, David Henderson. It isn't an interesting drive at all, it's actually quote annoying. Trying to swerve around drivers who don't understand I am in a hurry just - well - pisses me off. This journey is without my faithful companion Phil. It's always a bummer driving home without Phil. I enjoy having someone to talk to and laugh with and not realize how completely alone I am on the interstate. I guess pretending I am a rockstar is only allowed when I am alone.
On another positive note.. Phil and I celebrate our four year anniversary yesterday. We went to City Range Steakhouse, which was excellent to say the least! When we returned home from dinner, we let our dog Zepp in from outside. He has a routine that we go through before he is allowed to step foot into the house. As soon as he sets his paws on the mat he lifts them up to have them wiped. Well I guess I thought I had wiped them pretty good so I let him go, and he always goes nuts when we let him inside. So, he of course went nuts. He picked up his stuffed animal and started going crazy and I then to notice little brown spots everywhere. OH CRAP! So, Phil and I spent an hour or so of our anniversary night cleaning up Zepp's dirty pawprints off the carpet. Oh well, C'est la vie!
